KNOW THE SCHOOL CODES

When you register for the SAT or ACT, you can have the scores sent to a certain number of schools free of charge.  If you need to add schools at a later date, you will be charged an additional fee. Be strategic about your free scores!  Here are some tips:

For California State Universities (CSU)

SAT - CSUMentor Code for SAT is 3594

You can list CSUMentor as an SAT score recipient; CSUMentor will then store your scores for ALL CSU campuses to utilize.

ACT – Send to 1 CSU & use the Score Manager

If you have listed a CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, you can use the ACT Scores Manager on CSU Mentor to release your score to additional campuses. Before you can use the ACT Scores Manager, you must first have arranged for your scores to be sent to a CSU campus.

For Universities of California (UC)

You can have your official scores sent to one UC campus, and all campuses you apply to will receive it.

SAT - For the SAT Reasoning Test, the UC will focus on the highest total score in the College

Board's Score Choice module, ensure that all scores are sent to UC.

ACT Plus Writing - For the ACT Plus Writing test, the UC will focus on the highest combined

score from the same test administration.
